Duties and Responsibilities: Provide routine care, observing patients' health, assisting doctors and registered nurses, and communicating with patients and their families. Their responsibilities may depend on their place of work but in general all Licensed Practical Nurses have the same duties and responsibilities.

Salary: $41,540

Education: Diploma in practical nursing, must pass the National Council Examination.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? I honestly would like to be one because I like to do anything that requires assisting those who need assistance. It may not be my dream career, but it certainly is one for me to think about in the future. After all, the employment rate is expected to increase so my chances of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse are generally higher than other careers.
