"It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is _____ and ______"

Student Success Statement

"It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound" (not good) - Joseph Smith

What this quote by Joseph Smith means to me is that it is our responsibility to make friendships/bonds with those who choose to do good, and avoid those who choose to do wrong. We would want to let ourselves be influenced by people who respect on another, do good in school, stay away from drugs and alcohol, and overall be good individuals in society. We want to avoid those who do drugs, are always lying or cheating, who are untrustworthy, and basically get into trouble do to their unrighteous actions.
