Duties and Responsibilities: provide general protection to the public by patrolling neighborhoods, directing traffic, and investigating crimes. Policemen can also and are not limited to the following, investigate break ins, make arrests, respond to 911 calls, and give first aid to victims in need.
Salary: $56,130 median salary
Education: High School Diploma and training at a Police Academy

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? I honestly feel like I would like to be one because I feel great when I help others, and I would put my life in risk for the safety of others. It is a risky job as there may be many conflicts, but that is why you are trained and you have to have a strong will to put your life for the safety of others which I have.
