Duties and Responsibilities: can treat/ diagnose diseases of the ears, nose, and nasal passage sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. ENT is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.

Education: Score well on MCAT and earn a high undergraduate GPA, and plan to complete 4 years of medical school, and finish 2-3 years of an ENT residency program.

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not? I honestly feel that this is a very interesting career to study, and will be a career choice I will have, when seeking a job in the medical field. I find it interesting, and well I can see myself studying this profession.
