Student Success Statement
A choice : Poverty or Prosperity
"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (Poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and i decided that I would change it." - Dr. Ben Carson
What this quote by Dr. Ben Carson means to me is that we may all encounter tough situations like that of Dr. Ben Carson... but we must have the will and the determination, to work hard and try to overcome our present situation(s). We all have the choice to get out of our tough situations, we have the choice to have either poverty or prosperity as well as a successful life.
