"Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others ... but to get ahead of ourselves" - Thomas S. Monson

What this quote means to me is that our goal in life, is not to get ahead of others, not to finish first, not to have a better job, but to surpass ourselves. To be better than we were yesterday, to be the best we could ever be.

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."- Og Mandino

What this quote means to me is that true wealth comes from our hearts, not from our wallets. For example, a person who is kind, CTR, and that is honest is a person with a good heart, which is also a person with true wealth. You can have all the money in the world, but if you lie, steal, etc, you don't have True Wealth.

Duties and Responsibilities: Allergists, also known as immunologists, are doctors specialized in the area of immunology, which means their main purpose is to identify and treat allergic reactions and immunological disorders.
Salary: The employment outlook for Allergists is very good. According to statistics, the average salary of an Allergist usually reaches 330.000 dollars a year. However, the salary is based on the level of experience and location. For entry-level positions, the salary is significantly reduced.
Education: In order to become Allergists, a four years medical college is mandatory. Furthermore, a few years in the field of specialization are also necessary. This period, usually of two years, is known as the fellowship-training program in allergy and immunology. After all these medical studies, the next step is to obtain a certificate or license to practice in this area from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Some employers require the applicants for an Allergist position to have 13 years of medical training. This includes 4 years of pre-med college, 4 years of medical school, 3 years of residency training and the last 2 years of fellowship training program in allergy and immunology.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? I Honestly would like to be one; it seems like a very interesting career. It doesn't seem easy, but like many jobs/careers, in the end, it ends up being worth the time and effort.

"Real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are" - Sterling W. Sill

What this quote means to me is that wealth doesn't always have to be known as what's in your pocket, but as to what's in your heart. Wealth isn't just about bragging about how much money you have in the bank, it's also what you are as an individual in society.
