Final: Part 1
Final: Part 1
1. What are things you liked about the class? To be honest, there was actually quite a few things I liked about this class. The Student Success Statements, our life planning 100+ goals reading, and the most powerful quote I have ever heard and that has impacted me greatly: to always Choose the Right!
2. What are the things you did not like about the class? A few things I did not like about this class is the fact that some students (not all), kept interrupting the teacher when we needed to listen, that my computer had malfunctions at times, and well there isn't really anything else to say...
3. Recommendations for improving the class... I say that there should be more strictness involved because too many students are interrupting the class, and in promoting a Bad Environment for those who actually want to listen to fruitfulness of the lectures provided.
4. Answer:: Did you really do your best in this class? Coming from a Student who messed up along the road, Choosing to do wrong in middle school and in Freshman year in High School( not going to school and bad grades), I can say I did improve quite a bit, but not my best. I know there are ways I could've done things differently but in the end.... you learn from your mistakes.
5. Answer: Are you reading your life planning 100+ Goals Daily for at least two minutes? Explain. I will be honest to say that I don't always read my life planning goals, but I would love to get into the habit of doing so. Recently this month, however, I improved greatly, reading my goals for the entire month! I will read my life planning during the summer and for a lifetime, because I will only be doing good for myself If I do so.
6. Answer: Are you committed to be a CTR person? Why or Why not? Yes, because although I may not be perfect, I strive to do my best in school now, be as respectful as I possibly be towards others, and helping others when they need help, which in turn all pertain to CTR.
7. What will you always remember about this class? The do the right thing song, and the quote that will be my guide towards a successful life! CTR!!

"A man without a goal is like a boat without a rudder." - Thomas Carlyle
What this quote by Thomas Carlyle means to me is that if we have no goals, just like boat without a rudder, we wont get anywhere or we wont go the places we'd want to go. Our goals are our rudder, they help us steer ourselves to our destinations like college, success, or the lives we would want to live. So set your goals or else you wont go far in life.

"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating." - Sophocles
What this quote by Sophocles means to me is that we should never cheat ourselves in life, because there is no honor in doing that. Instead we should always aim to win in a fair, competitive way, but, at the same time learn how to accept defeat in a fair way. You may hate losing as well as any other human being on the planet, but if you lose when you tried to compete in a fair manner, then people will respect you. On the other cheating towards victory in a sense is a cowards way to glory, and for the reasons mentioned above, we should aim to win/lose in a fair way with honor, than cheat and be dishonorable and disrespected.

"If I've got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing, I'm going to succeed." - Dan Dierdorf
What this quote by Dan Dierdorf means to me is that if I follow the goals I set for my life, meaning, I work hard towards trying to accomplish them, then everything else will follow. So if I pursue my goals and accomplish them, I will see that I have a life within my control, and that life itself isn't going to control me and decide my destiny. Dierdorf also mentions to do the right thing in order to succeed which is true because we can't get anywhere in life if we choose to do what's wrong.
